THE ARGEMMIOS EDITIONS IS CURRENTLY THE MOST REPUTABLE FANTASY PUBLISHING HOUSE IN EUROPE.
H ere at The Argemmios Editions, our mission and values are quite easy to understand. We push hard to exceed all expectations and not for ourselves, but for everyone else – our teams, our writers and, of course, our beloved readers.
Founded in 1989, our publishing house is among the oldest names on the French market. There are more reasons wherefore we have managed to survive for so long. Most importantly, we like to grow. We have always grown and expanded our writer portfolio, but we are also selective when it comes to maintaining our high quality standards.
A lthough it started as a small company with a team of three people and just three books (all of them written by the team members), The Argemmios Editions gained notoriety due to its quality – every book released by our house was worth it.
In other words, we know what fantasy lovers want. Moreover, we have all kinds of fantasy books in our bookstores and libraries. We have fantasy for children, as well as intriguing fantasy for grownups. The fantasy world is not just for kids, but for everyone with a big imagination. For this reason, our grownup reader database is impressive.
Why are we specialized in fantasy? Every once in a while, someone asks this question. Our answer is pretty simple – we live in a world of fantasy. We live in a world where no matter how hard we try to keep our imagination our control, it will always escape.
To us, The Argemmios Editions was a fantasy. We set it up as three people. We hoped for the best and worked hard. In a world where books were extremely popular and there were dozens of solid publishing houses in France, pushing our luck was a fantasy. We let our imagination go wild and somehow, we managed to do it.
Furthermore, there were no publishing houses specialized in fantasy books back then. Even today, the market is still fresh. From this point of view, we are some of the pioneers of this industry and this might explain why we have become so successful. But success is not everything. As long as people are happy with our books, we believe that we have done our job.
